employers within the Engineering Construction Industry. The Association
works with all stakeholders to encourage good Industrial Relations and safe,
productive working leading to the successful delivery of projects to Clients.
It is underpinned by the NAECI, an effective and transparent framework that
aids members in achieving their program safely, on time and on budget.

Events
We offer a range of free or reduced-rate events to members. Non-members are invited to enquire however may be required to pay a fee.
Training
Our skilled Regional Managers deliver a standard training package to support management objectives. They are also responsible for the ECIA Supervisor Development program, which delivers real-world training in support of the NAECI.
The ECIA currently has two separate course programs, one for Managers working on an NAECI site and the other is our Supervisor Development Program. Each course has a practical element, which is conducted through an interactive electronic system that allows delegates to interact anonymously in the room, but allows analysis of the shortfalls that can be provided to the member company.

The NAECI Manager Awareness Course
- is provided based on client and member feedback of observable shortfalls in the workplace. This two-part course can be bespoke to cover company-specific issues that have occurred when working under NAECI. £2150+VAT per course.

The Supervisor Development Course
- has been devised to support new and experienced supervisors who are working under NAECI and need upskilling. The one-day starter course is an ideal way to begin the experience. The Supervisor Program is an entry course into managing a workforce and it stresses the importance of the right “first time” and dealing in a fair and unbiased manner. This will be their first introduction to using soft skills to manage a complex workspace. £1800+VAT per course.

ECIA Membership Foundation Training
- provides HR and Senior Managers with the essential knowledge to make the most of ECIA membership. Covering everything from the NAECI agreement to payroll and welfare obligations, the course ensures your teams are fully equipped to manage responsibilities confidently and in line with industry standards. Free for new members, £1000+VAT for existing members.
