NAECI Pay Negotiations 2026 & Resulting Offer

Naeci pay

London, 21.11.2025, by John Simpson

I am pleased to confirm that the ECIA negotiation team has presented an inflation-led pay offer to the NECC (GMB & UNITE the Union). This proposal is now being put forward for a ballot and agreement, and I would like to outline the details of the offer. We believe this represents a fair and reasonable response to current inflationary pressures and demonstrates our commitment to protecting the workforce.

  • Baserate Payments: a 3.6% increase in Baserate payments
  • Radius Payments: a 3.6% increase in Radius payments
  • Accommodation Allowance: up to a maximum of 7.2% increase, subject to HMRC approval
  • Welding Proficiency Payments: a 7.2% uplift
  • London Rate Enhancement: increase from £1.00 to £1.50

While our preference is always to secure a two-year or greater agreement to provide greater stability for all parties, external factors beyond ECIA’s control have necessitated a one-year deal on this occasion. This shorter-term approach ensures the timely implementation of measures that address immediate economic challenges.

Looking ahead to wage negotiations for 2027 and beyond, we are committed to conducting a more comprehensive review over a longer timeframe. Our aim will be to address key issues identified by the industry—delivering benefits for the workforce, contracting companies, and client operators across the sites where we operate.

We believe this offer reflects a competitive and responsible increase, and we strongly encourage its acceptance by the workforce. This offer will remain valid until 5pm on the 12th December 2025.
